The company Birch Tree Medical, Inc. was established, in November of 2009.

Birchtree is a medical device startup company designing and developing patient-controlled products using muscle monitoring, relaxation, and stimulation technology [patent pending]. We believe this will increase independence to over 8 million people whose spasticity interferes with their activities of daily living [ADL] and will improve sleep and therefore daytime functioning for over 7 million and potentially up to 30 million people with RLS [Restless Legs Syndrome].

Birchtree is currently self funded. We have standing offers for angel investments and are currently applying for numerous grants. We will be seeking further funding options in the late fall of 2010.
